Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) is the practice of getting your brand cited inside AI-generated answers — in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews — rather than just ranking in the blue links below them. Where SEO competes for clicks, AEO competes to be the source the answer is built from.
